When adults feel sweet, they feel over-sweet. The concentration of sugar water fed to the newborn can be between sweet and non-sweet when tasted by adults. There is no advantage in giving newborns more sugar. Feeding newborns with high concentrations of sugar water can initially speed up bowel movements, but soon turn into inhibition, which can make the child's abdomen swell.

The best drink is plain water. It is not proper for many parents to quench their thirst with a variety of novel and expensive sweet juices, soft drinks or other beverages instead of plain water. Drinks contain a lot of sugar and more electrolytes, do not leave the stomach as fast as drinking water, and will stay for a long time, resulting in a bad stimulation of the stomach. The child is thirsty. Just give them some boiled water, occasionally taste the drinks, and it is best to dilute with plain water.

Do not feed your child before meals. Drinking water before meals can dilute the stomach juice, which is not conducive to food digestion. Drinking stomach bulging also affects appetite. The appropriate method is to let the child drink a small amount of water half an hour before the meal to increase the secretion of saliva in the oral cavity and help digestion.

Do not feed your child before going to bed. Younger children cannot fully control their urination after deep sleep at night. If they drink too much water before going to bed, it is easy to enure urine. Even if you do not have enuresis, getting up and urinating overnight will also affect your sleep.
