1 Materials and methods
1.1 Instruments US Perkin-Elmer Model 783 infrared spectrophotometer, using a slit program of resolution 5.4 / cm, take 4 times average.
1.2 Samples.
1.3 Experimental method The medicinal material sample was pulverized, passed through a No. 3 sieve, and weighed lg, and extracted with diethyl ether to obtain an ether extract. The sample was sampled by KBr window coating method, and the infrared spectrum was scanned. After the data is processed by the spectrum, the computer is searched for the spectral library.

3 Discussion The experimental results show that the profile of the infrared spectrum of licorice in various situations (different habitats, different soils, wild and cultivated) is quite consistent and stable; the infrared spectra of the three authentic licorice are similar and different, from various The spectral difference between the same species of licorice caused by the situation is much smaller than the spectral difference between the three authentic licorice species. Therefore, according to the spectral difference characteristics between the three authentic licorices, the three licorices can be identified accurately; As the contour features of the infrared spectrum of other medicinal licorice licorice and the contour features of any kind of genuine licorice, the difference is easy to distinguish. There was no significant difference in the infrared spectrum of wild and cultivated licorice in the same producing area.
