Identification methods of three kinds of pesticides
When pesticides are purchased, they must have a certain method of identification. The most important thing is that they are genuine. How can we buy pesticides with good efficacy in the current complex pesticide market? The following methods are simple ways to identify the efficacy of pesticides for reference and hope to help farmers.
1. Emulsion pesticide efficacy identification method
(1) Observation method:
The pesticide bottle was found to have sedimentation and layered flocculation. The bottle was placed in hot water and allowed to stand for one hour. If the sediment was decomposed and the flocculation disappeared, the pesticide was effective. Otherwise, pesticide failure can no longer be made.
(2) Swing:
Stratification occurred in the pesticide bottle. The lower layer of the upper slick was deposited. The bottle was shaken with force to mix the two layers and allowed to stand for one hour. If it was still stratified, it was proved that the pesticide had gone bad. If the stratification disappears, indicating that the pesticide has not failed, it can be used.
2, wettable powder pesticide efficacy identification method
(1) Lightly sprinkle a small amount of pesticide on the ground with splashed water. If the pesticide does not dissolve after 1 minute, it means that it has failed.
(2) Dispense 1 gram of pesticide in 1 cup of water, stir it well, if the sedimentation speed is fast, the liquid level. If it is translucent, it indicates that the pesticide has failed and should not be used.
3, powder system pesticide efficacy method
(1) Suspension method:
Take 50 grams of pesticide powder and put it in a glass bottle. Add a little water to make a paste. Add appropriate amount of fresh water and mix well. Place 10-20 minutes, good pesticide particles are fine, precipitation is slow and less; failure of pesticide particles coarse, precipitation faster and more.
(2) Observation method:
If powdered pesticides are agglomerated, they are not easily decomposed and prove to be invalid and cannot be reused.
