The use of chicken field disinfection drugs

Disinfectant use scope and method Disinfection object Disinfectant and disinfection method Coccidia, oocysts, spores 3 to 5% bleach, 0.2 to 1% peracetic acid, flame disinfection or fermentation, drying and other general bacteria, viruses (houseware Etc.) Iodine, benzalkonium bromide, caustic soda, formalin fumigation fungal iodine, 0.2 to 1% peracetic acid, flame drains, mud, walls and other 10% lime emulsion or lime, drying, drying and other disinfection pool to Suer Liquid, iodine, etc. drinking water bleach 5ppm
Dirt, litter, and other contaminants 5% stinky water, lime, sunlight, accumulation fermentation, fire and other diseases, dead chicken fire, deep-buried eggs, chickens 0.1% benzalkonium bromide or 25 ml formalin per cubic meter, 12.5 Potassium permanganate fumigation.

Commonly used disinfection drugs are described below:
(1) To Suer (Coal Phenol Soap Solution): 3-10% of hot solution is commonly used to disinfect chicken house, pipe, feeding utensils and arms without bacillus contamination, but has no disinfection effect on Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
(2) Bleach: It is suitable for the disinfection of chicken houses, ground, feces and dirty water; 5% bleaching powder emulsion can kill most bacteria in 5 minutes; 10-20% emulsion can kill bacteria in a short time and Spores. Before bleaching, the bleaching powder shall be placed on the water at the required concentration, sealed for one day and night after stirring, and the supernatant shall be taken for spray disinfection. The sediment shall be used for the disinfection of the ditch and the ground. Powders are often used to disinfect manure and other dirty water.
Bleach has a corrosive effect on the skin, metal products and clothing, and care should be taken when disinfecting. Bleach is easily decomposed when in contact with air, so it should be sealed and kept in a dry, dark, cool place.
(3) Sodium hydroxide (also known as caustic soda, caustic soda): The 2-3% hot solution is usually used to disinfect the walls, floors, utensils, etc. of the house. Due to the strong corrosiveness of caustic soda solution, it is necessary to wear rubber shoes and rubber gloves (all are acid and alkali resistant rubber products) when disinfecting, and prevent the solution from splashing into the eyes. After sterilizing for one hour, use water to wash utensils and medicines attached to the ground. Caustic soda can easily absorb the moisture in the atmosphere and deliquescence. It gradually changes to sodium carbonate, which greatly weakens the disinfection efficiency. Therefore, it must be sealed when it is stored.
(4) Formalin: Formalin is a 37-40% formaldehyde solution. Formaldehyde binds to amino groups in proteins and denatures proteins. 0.5-2.5% formalin can kill in 6-24 hours. All bacterial spores and viruses have a strong bactericidal and stimulatory effect and can be used for the disinfection of poultry houses, utensils and excreta. Formaldehyde vapors can also be used for fumigation (see Chapter 5, Feeding and Management of Chicks for details).
(5) benzalkonium bromide: 0.1% of the solution is used to wash the equipment for feeding, hatching, brooding, and disinfection of arms and instruments. It can also be used to disinfect eggs. At this time, the liquid temperature is 40-43°C, and the dipping time is less than 3 minutes. Application can not be combined with soap, sodium hydroxide, etc. If you have used soap, sodium hydroxide, should be fully washed with water and then disinfected with benzalkonium chloride.
(6) Odor Potion (Korrillin): Commonly used 5% hot solution to disinfect non-Bacillus-contaminated chicken houses and utensils.
(7) Peracetic acid: A 20% solution is commercially available and is valid for six months. It has strong oxidation properties, and it can also decompose acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide and other products to act as a synergistic bactericidal effect, so its bactericidal action is fast and strong, and it is effective for bacteria, viruses, molds and spores. 0.04-0.2% aqueous solution for soaking disinfection of acid-resistant appliances; 0.05-0.5% aqueous solution for spray sterilization of the environment and poultry houses; for indoor disinfection, using 20% peracetic acid solution of 5-15 ml per cubic meter Diluted to 3-5% of the solution, heating fumigation, indoor relative humidity should be 60-80%, closed doors and windows 1-2 hours.
(8) Potassium permanganate: a dark purple rhombic crystal which is easily soluble in water and is a strong oxidant. Most bacteria of the reproductive type can be killed with a 0.1% solution, and 2-5% of the solution can kill spores within 24 hours. Enhanced bactericidal action in acidic solutions, such as 1% potassium permanganate solution containing 1.1% hydrochloric acid can kill anthrax spores within 30 seconds. An aqueous solution of potassium permanganate is required for current use.
