First, green feed

2. Cake

Due to the lack of protection of cell membranes in the diets of the pancakes, nutrients are easily exposed and infected with insects and bacteria. Therefore, special attention must be paid to pest control, moisture proofing, and mildew proofing during storage. Prior to storage, aluminum phosphide can be used to fumigate and disinfect with anthranilic acid. Warehouse matting should also be done well. It is best to use rammed material as the material at the end of the mat. The mat is dry and compacted. The thickness is not less than 20 cm. At the same time, the moisture must be strictly controlled, and the best control is about 5%.

3. Bran

Bran crushing loose, large pores, strong hygroscopicity, fat content up to 5%, it is easy to rancid or worms, mildew. The newly-opened bran temperature can generally reach 30°C. Before storage, the temperature should be lowered to 10-15°C before storage. During the storage period, it must be checked carefully to prevent condensation, mildew, worms, and moisture absorption. The storage period of bran should not exceed 3 months, and rancidity will be accelerated if stored for more than 4 months.

4. Rice bran

Rice bran has high fat content, poor heat conduction, strong moisture absorption, and is prone to heat and rancidity. When storing, you should avoid stepping on the pressure. The rice wares stored in the warehouse should be promptly inspected, diligently turned over, and grounded down. Attention should be paid to ventilation and cooling. The stability of rice bran storage is worse than that of bran. It is not suitable for long-term storage. It is necessary to promptly store new products and avoid losses.

Third, compound feed

There are many types of compound feed, including full-priced compound feed, concentrated feed, concentrate mix, additive premix, etc. Different types of feed, its storage time, requirements are also different.

1. Full price pellets

Due to the use of steam tempering or water extrusion, it can kill most of the microorganisms and pests, and the gap is large, the water content is low, and the gelatinized starch encloses vitamins, so the storage performance is better, as long as it is moisture-proof, ventilated and protected from light. Storage, no mildew in the short term, less damage to vitamins.

2. Full price powdered material

The surface area is large, the porosity is small, the thermal conductivity is poor, and it is easy to return to moisture. Fats and vitamins are exposed to air and are easily oxidized and damaged by light. Therefore, such feed should not be stored for a long time. Do not store in the factory for more than 2 weeks.

3. Concentrate feed

The feed is rich in protein and contains nutrients such as vitamins and various trace elements. Its poor thermal conductivity, easy to absorb moisture, microorganisms and insects easy to breed, vitamins vulnerable to heat, light, oxidation and other factors and the failure. Therefore, when it is stored, it should be placed in a dry and cold place. Anti-mould agents and antioxidants should be added to the concentrate to increase storage stability. Usually stored for 3-4 weeks, it must be sold or used in time.

4. Additive premix

Additives generally require storage at low temperatures, in dry, dark places. The packaging should be sealed; many mineral salts can promote the decomposition of vitamins, so mineral additives and vitamins should not be stored together; additive premixes to avoid oxidation to reduce potency, should be added antioxidants, such as BHT, ethoxy quinoline, etc.; Time has a direct impact on the potency of additives. Some vitamins add up to 5%-10% of their monthly losses. Their products should be fast-growing, fast-selling and fast-acting. Various additives are best used in a short period of time. Avoid long-term storage, not to purchase this year, only to use next year.
