How to distinguish the quality of pesticides
(a) Powders
1. Appearance powder appearance should be loose fine powder, no lumps.
2. Hygroscopicity Before taking the powder to measure the hygroscopicity, check whether there is moisture outside the powder packaging paper bag. If it is, it is of course a large hygroscopicity. Then take a little powder from the bag and pour it on a white paper, pick up the white paper, pinch it with your thumb and forefinger on the outside of the paper. If it sticks together, it indicates that the powder has absorbed moisture. If the powder is powdered, The use of it means that the quality is not good; if it is still loose powder, it is a good spray agent. The wettability of wettable powders is greater than that of ordinary powders. However, this kind of agent is used for watering, and the hygroscopicity affects it less than powders used for powder spraying. However, the absorption of moisture is not always a good thing because pesticides are easily degraded when they are wet.
(b) WP
1. The appearance should be very fine loose powder, no lumps.
2. Hygroscopicity uses a large-mouthed glass bottle, which is filled with water, and then gently pours a spoonful of wettable powder from the top on the surface with a small spoon. If it can fully wet and gradually sink after 2 minutes, Is a good wettable powder; if the powder is still floating on the surface, it is a poorly wetted agent. In this way, it is also possible to distinguish which one is a wettable powder and which one is a dusting powder. A wettable powder is easily wetted. General powder is not wetted.
3. Suspension Plug the wetted glass bottle over and over, and shake it back and forth 30 times. Then let it sit for 10 minutes and take a look. If the liquid is still turbid, the powder that sinks under the bottom of the bottle is a good wettable powder with good suspension. If more than half of the powder has settled or the liquid is nearly clarified, the suspension performance is not good; if all the powder When they have all sunk to the bottom of the bottle, they are wettable powders that have poor suspensibility; if they condense, they are not good wettable powders.
(c) EC
1. Look first to see if the emulsion in the vial is layered. Look to see if it is already turbid. If there is any crystallization, there is no delamination, no turbidity, and no crystallization. Creams that are stratified, turbid, or crystallized are already deteriorating, and their efficacy is poor. Of course, if the emulsifiable concentrate is placed at a very cold temperature and crystals are found, it is not considered to be deteriorating when it is dissolved at room temperature.
2. Emulsify one volume of cream into 19 volumes of water, mix and shake 30 times, then let stand for half an hour to see if there is any oil or paste floating on the water. Look again. There is no sediment at the bottom. If none, it indicates that the agent has good emulsifying power. When measuring emulsifiability, if the emulsifiable concentrate that is put into the water can spread quickly and become white, it is the best emulsifiable concentrate. This type of emulsifiable concentrate that can be spread without stirring, is also called the emulsion with strong diffusion. If there is a noticeable deposit, or if there is a slick on the surface of the water, the cream is a poor emulsifying oil.
(d) Suspension
Suspending agents should be slightly viscous, flowable suspensions with very small, uniform viscosity. If delamination occurs due to long-term storage, the uniform state can be restored by hand shaking, and it can still be regarded as a qualified product. If it cannot be re-formed into a homogeneous suspension, the sediment at the bottom does not shake and the suspension performance is not good.
Can be used directly to maintain the integrity of cell morphology Guidelines recommend cell preservation fluids for sample preservation and transport. It can be used for sputum, bronchoscopic alveolar lavage fluid, pleural fluid and other liquid samples.
