The disease stems from branching spots or dead branches. The dead branches include the dry piles on the tree, under the tree, around the orchard, and on the trees. To combat dry rot, the first is to strengthen cultivation and management. The second is to increase organic fertilizers, timely watering, and enhance the tree's disease resistance. The third is to prevent branch pests and avoid all kinds of wounds (including frostbite, insect injury, mechanical damage, etc.). Fourth, through pruning and thinning, fruit thinning, and other measures, the tree body can be reasonably loaded to avoid the phenomena of size and year, and maintain the stability of tree vigor. For the weak trees and saplings on the pathogenesis, the diseased wound or the poisonous bacterin can be directly applied to the affected area. For larger stems, apply a 10-20 fold solution of Nong 120 to the lesion.

An orchard with an apple stem rot should be sprayed with 3-5 Baume Lithosulfide or Ringworm Eradicator 400 times before germination. Before the first peak of onset (May to June), 2 times of tebuconazole or 800 times of the bacterium was sprayed.
