Do not forget to make up for fat after cotton topping
Generally, cotton is topping at the flowering stage. It is during the best flowering and ringing period, and afterwards, effective flowering and ringing should be maintained for 30 to 40 days. This period is a crucial period for determining cotton production, and fertilizer and water must keep up.
First, the necessity of supplementing fertilizer
1. The need for rapid growth. Cotton boll stage is the peak period of water and nutrients needed. The absorbed nutrients are equivalent to about 2/3 of the amount of absorbed nutrients in a lifetime, and the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium absorbed is roughly 3:1:3 (by N:P2O5: K2O calculations) also account for about 2/3 of total lifetime absorption. After the cotton is topping, it is the time when each part of the organs competes for the most intense nutrients. The development of young bells requires nutrients, the buds increase, the flowering needs nutrients, the elongation of the upper fruit branches and the emergence of new leaves and buds require nutrients. Insufficient supply of nutrients is not the reduction of the bell in the middle and lower parts, that is, no bell in the upper part, or the premature decline of cotton after the bell, the loss of leaves and the reduction of the boll weight, all fail to achieve the purpose of high yield.
2. Need for flowering bells. After the cotton plants are topping, they are almost always flowering and ringing, and sometimes one plant blossoms from two to several flowers. Therefore, the demand for nutrients after the cotton is topping is continuous. One day is essential, because the top growth advantage after topping has been If it does not exist, the young bells after flowering become the strongest contenders for nutrients. If they cannot meet their needs, they are discarded and shed by the cotton plants. Therefore, young bells that have been 1-4 days after flowering become the most easily detached reproductive organs. Insufficient nutrients will also cause the young buds to fall off. This will require the use of fertilization and fertilizer supplements. Can not think that you have applied the base fertilizer and follow the fat you do not need to make up for the fertilizer. Most of the previously applied fertilizers have been absorbed or used up by cotton. Except for a few fertile soils or soils with a large amount of organic fertilizers, most soils cannot meet the demand for nutrients during the blooming period of cotton. However, soils that can meet the nutrient requirements of cotton by nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are scarce.
3. Prevent de-fertilization and increase resistance. At present, the author is consulting services in the southern Jiangxi province of cotton to see the coordination of vegetative growth and reproductive growth in most cotton fields. There are 12 to 13 fruit branches per plant, most of which have been topping, and the lower part has four to five bells. The buds are numerous and some of the cotton fields are controlled by the dark green leaves, which may mask the deficiency of nutrients. Although it is rarely shed, once defertilization results in the loss of a large amount of bells in the upper part.
After the topping of cotton, the timely, balanced, and continuous re-supply of the fertilizer will only satisfy the demand for high-yield cotton from the perspective of nutrients, but can it achieve high yields? We must also do a good job in preventing and controlling pests and diseases and pruning. This period of time is from mid-late July to mid-August. Severe weather changes, continuous rain, droughts, floods, wind blows and other disasters may all result in a significant reduction in cotton production. However, we still need to meet the demand for nutrients for high-yield cotton, and make 100% of the top-fat re-supply work. Even in the event of severe weather, it will slow the impact on production.
It can be seen that supplementing fertilizer after topping is absolutely not optional for cotton, but is an important measure that affects the level of output.
Second, make up fertilizer method After the top dressing of cotton topping fertilizer, must adhere to the cotton, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium ratio required simultaneously and timely supplement. The method of combining root fertilization and foliar spray fertilizer may be used, mainly nitrogen and potassium. The phosphorus-deficient soil must also be supplemented with phosphorus. According to the requirements for high cotton yield, it is appropriate to use 7.5 kg urea and 17.5 kg of potash fertilizer for the soil in general. 7.5 kg urea contains 3.45 kg pure nitrogen, and 7.5 kg potassium sulfate contains 3.75 kg of potassium oxide. According to the fertilizer utilization rate of 40%, 1.4 kg of pure nitrogen and 1.5 kg of potassium oxide can be supplied to the cotton. These nitrogen and potassium are enough to produce 30 Kilograms of seed cotton are required, and can greatly reduce the occurrence and damage of cotton verticillium wilt in the later period. In the fertile fields where raw manure is grown, organic manure is used, and cotton plants with signs of prosperous growth are to be controlled, the use of nitrogenous fertilizers must be controlled. Nitrogen fertilizers must be strictly prohibited in cotton fields where the birds are closed, and potassium and phosphorus fertilizers must be added to consume excess nitrogen.
A Pipette (sometimes spelled pipet) is a laboratory tool commonly used in chemistry, biology and medicine to transport a measured volume of liquid, often as a media dispenser. Pipettes come in several designs for various purposes with differing levels of accuracy and precision, from single piece glass pipettes to more complex adjustable or electronic pipettes. Many pipette types work by creating a partial vacuum above the liquid-holding chamber and selectively releasing this vacuum to draw up and dispense liquid. Measurement accuracy varies greatly depending on the style.
