The signing ceremony for the establishment of China Health Medical Big Data Industry Development Co., Ltd. was held at the China Electronic Network Security and Information Technology Industry Base. Under the guidance of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Electronic Information Industry Group Corporation, China Development and Investment Corporation, China United Network Communications Co., Ltd., and China State-owned Enterprise Structural Adjustment Fund Co., Ltd. jointly initiated the establishment of China's health care big data industry. According to the person in charge of China Electronics, the Industrial Development Corporation will integrate the relevant resources of the four central enterprises, and strengthen the joint innovation with the equity as the link in accordance with the principle of “government-led, market operation, joint innovation, and mutual benefit”. Health and medical big data center and industrial park; to ensure the health and medical big data security as the goal, invest in the backbone enterprises in the industry, break through the core technology; promote the incubation and cultivation of the health industry by means of financial means, build a healthy medical big data industry ecosystem, and promote National basic health care big data construction.

It is understood that the Industrial Development Corporation will connect with the pilot regional government and give full play to the various stakeholders in data technology applications, industry cultivation, communication infrastructure construction, investment and financing, and provide information applications in the fields of cloud computing, big data, and Internet of Things. The advantage is to select local partners to jointly develop, build and operate a national/regional big data cloud center.
