Symptoms of various root diseases of rubber trees: 1. Red root disease: The early stages of infection of rubber trees with red root disease do not reveal any abnormal performance from the ground. Later on, it is generally characterized by sparse crowns, yellowing leaves, dullness, and even curling off and falling off; more dead branches and smaller tip leaflets; short pitches of leaves, sometimes with unstable latex yields, highs and lows. There is a long flow of glue. The epidermis of the root of rubber trees infected with red root disease has a red or erythrocyte membrane, which is one of the main features of red root disease. 2. Brown root disease: In the early stage of infecting the rubber tree with brown root disease, the above-ground part of the rubber tree did not change significantly, and later it showed that the leaves wilted and drooped off. The surface of the epidermis also adheres to sand or gravel. It is uneven and not easy to fall off. When the disease is severe, brown netting can also be seen on the woody surface under the root bark. The occurrence of root diseases is related to the vegetation types, soils, environmental conditions, methods of cultivation, and cultivation management measures of forest land in front of the forest. Prevention measures: (1) Regular inspections. After rubber trees are planted, they should be investigated at least once a year and should be carried out between the time the new leaves begin to age and the time before the winter leaves fall. One to three rows of rubber trees can be viewed at a time, looking at the canopy, looking for plants with yellow leaves; near looking at the suspect trees, such as dead trees, miscellaneous stumps, and rubber trees around the shelter forest, take a closer look at their roots and necks. (2) Treatment of diseased trees. Simply summed up as "six words", that is, digging, chasing, cutting, scraping, drying, and pipe. Digging: Dig out the soil under the first lateral root with a spatula to expose the roots of the disease.
