Source: This product is a dried sclerotia of Polyporus umbellatus (Pers.) Fries, a fungus of the fungus Polyporaceae. In spring and autumn, the excavation is carried out to remove sediment and dry it.
Properties: This product is a bar, round or flat block-like, some branches, length 5-25cm, diameter 2-6cm. The surface is black, grayish black or brownish black, wrinkled or nodular. Lightweight, hard, white or yellow-white cross-section, slightly granular. Gas slightly, tasteless.
Identification: (1) The product cuts: The whole is made of closely intertwined mycelium. The outer layer is 27-54μm thick, the mycelium is brown, and it is not easy to separate; the inner mycelium is colorless, curved, with a diameter of 2-10μm, some visible transversum, branches or nodular expansion. There are many calcium oxalate crystals between the hyphae, most of which are in the form of regular octahedrons, regular biconical octahedrons or irregular polyhedrons, with a diameter of 3-60 μm and a length of 68 μm, sometimes with several crystal aggregates.
(2) Take 1g of this product powder, add methanol 20ml, sonicate for 30 minutes, filter, and take the filtrate as the test solution. The ergosterol reference substance was taken and methanol was added to make a solution containing 1 mg per 1 ml as a reference solution. According to the thin layer chromatography (Appendix VI B) test, absorb the test solution 20μl, the reference solution 4μl, respectively, on the same silica gel G thin plate, with petroleum ether (60 ~ 90 °C) - ethyl acetate (3 : 1) As a developing agent, unfold it, dry it, spray it with 2% vanillin sulfuric acid solution, and heat it at 105°C until the spots are clear. In the chromatogram of the test sample, the spots of the same color appear on the positions corresponding to the chromatogram of the reference substance.
Check: Water must not exceed 14.0% (Appendix IX H Method 1).
Total ash must not exceed 12.0% (Appendix IX K).
The acid-insoluble ash should not exceed 5.0% (Appendix IX K).
Concocted: remove impurities, soak, wash, run through, cut thick slices, dry.
Taste and origin: Gan, pale, flat. Kidney and bladder.
Function and indications: Lee water permeability. For urination, edema, diarrhea, turbidity, vaginal discharge.
Usage and dosage: 6-12 grams.
Storage: Store in a dry and ventilated place.
