British designers design smart beds to keep you sleeping all night

Release date: 2016-03-28

If you have poor sleep quality, then a vibrating smart bed may be what you need.

The Balluga bed is filled with inflatable balls, covered with foam, and has built-in sleep monitoring equipment and thermostats. The smart bed was developed by a British designer who claims that the smart bed can solve insomnia, mattress-related back pain, and even prevent snoring.
The key technology shown in the smart bed
The smart bed has four key technologies, including individual temperature control, built-in vibration massage, anti-snoring technology, and motion sensors with LED lights. All of these features can be controlled through a dedicated app on the user's phone, and the comfort of the bed can be adjusted.
Joe Katan from London, 52, spent eight years inventing the Balluga bed after countless sleepless nights. Mr. Katan said: "In the past, I bought a good quality bed, but after only a few years, I was no longer comfortable and lost the best feeling. This made me very tired. Because the bed is very uncomfortable, I often can't sleep. This can't be done. The problem solved made me angry. After eight years of serious testing and design, we invented the bed, which is not only comfortable but also fun."
Individual temperature control technology accelerates the flow of air across the bed, adjusting the temperature on both sides of the mattress. The built-in vibrating massage function gently massages the pressure points on the body. This function can be set to automatically turn off when the user falls asleep, or wake up the user in the morning vibration.
The Balluga bed also monitors the user's sleep, and the motion, temperature and heart rate sensors on it monitor the body's relevant data and feed it back to the temperature control module. In addition, it can also get the frequency of the user's snoring. When the sensor detects snoring, the Balluga bed adds air to the mattress under the head, causing the pillow to tilt slightly upwards, changing the position of the head and making the airway clear. The mattress can be placed in the existing bed frame before being inflated, or placed in the Balluga custom bed frame and then plugged in and inflated.
The price of a single mattress on Kickstarter is $1,199 (€850) and the price for a pair is $1995 (€1413). The manufacturer hopes that the order will be dispatched in October this year.

Greenhouse Drip Irrigation System

Fertigation is using your irrigator to fertilise the plants and soils as you water, which is the most efficient and advanced practice of fertilization. Aid of pressure system (or natural divide terrain), the soluble solid or liquid fertilizer, according to the soil nutrient content and crop fertilizer regularity and characteristics of species, with the fat of with irrigation water, through a controlled water supply pipeline system, supplying, the compatibility, water through the pipe and drop head form drip irrigation, uniform, regular, quantitative, infiltration area crop root growth and development, make the main root soil always stay loose and appropriate moisture content, at the same time according to different crop fertilizer characteristics, environment and soil nutrient content in soil; Crops in different growth phase water requirement, the different development stages of the fertilizer rule is the demand of design, the water and nutrient timing quantitative, provided directly in proportion to the crops.
